About Melbourne

I think i better stop post about Joke else all my reader will start get bored. This post is about  Melbourne.

Victoria (VIC) is Australian state build on gold rush. Its capital Melbourne (population: 3.7 million) was selected twice as the world's "most liveable city" - good climate(many Australians will disagree), low crime, friendly people. Melbourne is considered capital of culture, sport and fashion. The most famous competitions in Melbourne are tennis championship Australian Open, Formula 1 car races, and horse races - Melbourne Cup. Common opinion is Melbourne has the best fashion shops in Australia. 

Melbourne is the second-largest city in Australia, with a population of approximately 3.7 million. It is the capital of the Australian state Victoria. Melbourne has been called twice "The world most liveable city" in a survey by "The Economist" on the basis of its climate, cost of living, culture, crime rates, health care etc. Melbourne is home to Australia's three largest corporations, Telstra, BHP Billiton and the National Australia Bank and the majority of companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Melbourne is home to some of Australia's biggest sports events including: the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, the Australian Tennis Open, the Melbourne Cup horse races, and the AFL Grand Final. Melbourne hosted Olympic Games in 1956, as well as the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
