Language
I'm not sure i should shame on myself or another way. Tonight when to Malaysian cafe for takeaway my dinner. Try to order 'Wanton' without noddle but strange the auntie totally can't get what i mean till i need to point to the menu and repeat 'Wanton' without noddle then she get it. Izzit 'Wanton' soup. Then i answer 'yes' but it took her for a second to recall if the cafe serve that dish or not. But finally she said we do have. Gosh! i'm really doubt about my mandarin skill cause most of the time when i speak with stranger in Mandarin, definitely for the first time their can't get what i try to mean. I think i'm start get use to it cause some of my friends complaint that my Mandarin slang is weird and doesn't sound like a Chinese speak the language itself. Then if not Chinese speak the language what race did you think i am? Other issue is some people comment that i doesn't look like Chinese but more towards mix. Ask them to explain detail what does it mean with 'mix' but none of them can explain it. Strange human being.

hehe.. talk like a mix.. and look like a mix.. what else can prove that u r not.. LOL.. dont wori.. mix is also representing handsome in another word.. so dont wori.. u must be a cool handsome guy which having so many secret admirers... u shud b grateful to be mix.. :) wish I can be ur fan too..
ReplyDeleteI don't think i look like 'mix' maybe mix between Chinese and local native. That's why i doesn't look like Chinese. Btw i'm not handsome or good looking and i don't have secret admirers as i knew so far.
