Well basically i don't know what to write actually. However i realize that there is a lot Malaysian at here but i just don't have the luck to meet anyone of them till last week and she is the only Malaysian i know so far at here. At first i thought she is Singaporean but when clarify with her only i know that she is Malaysian. Ahh how good the feeling was when you manage to meet someone who's from the same country at foreign country.
Well chatting with her, she conclude that to spot a Malaysian is quite easy.
1) When Malaysian speak English, their is Malaysian slang. But she mention that she can't find this matter on my side. Wondering it's good or bad news. However most of the time people just can't guess that i'm from Malaysia. How sad it was. Sometime really feel like lost identity.
2) When Malaysian speak Bahasa Malaysia.
- I'm agree with her with this statement. Since our national language really can help us to recognize our fellow countrymen.
3) We just can't figure out what others way to identity Malaysian beside from the way their communicate. The way we dress, not that i can spot it from this way.
Maybe my fellow reader can give me some clue regarding this issue.
Hahaha.. lovely post! Same here.. when I was residing in the UK as a student all of my friends (including Malaysians) thought that I was born and bred in the UK.. @_@ I took that as a compliment anyhow.. LOL!
